The prospective bride is the daughter of Ron Haffner and Michelle O’Connor of Juneau. The prospective groom is the son of Tillie Lundy-Day and John Day of Juneau. The couple first met and became friends at Dzantik’i Heeni Middle School when they were in eighth grade, he proposed to her nearly seven years later in Hawaii.
